Day 1 : 22 April - Arrival to Istanbul (D)

Arrival to Istanbul and meet with shuttle transfer to hotel. In the afternoon our tour leader will brief us about the next days of our journey. In the evening we'll join the "Exclusive Anzac Welcome Party" including dinner and Turkish style entertainment.


 

Day 2 : 23 April - Istanbul Sightseeing (B)

After breakfast we will start to discover the magnificent sights of Istanbul including the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace and the Hagia Sophia Museum. In the afternoon we will also join a Bosphorus cruise and spend memorable hours on the fascinating strait that seperates Asia and Europe.

 

Day 3 : 24 April - Istanbul to Gallipoli (B)

Today we will depart Istanbul for Gallipoli to visit all the important memorial sites in the region including the Kabatepe War Museum, Anzac Cove, Chunuk Bair and Lone Pine. In the evening we'll depart for Anzac Cove and spend the night there to prepare ourselves for an unforgetable Dawn Service experience and commemorate the 90th anniversary of the legendary Gallipoli Campaign.
 

Day 4 : 25 April - Dawn Service and Ceremonies (BL)

Early in the morning we'll attend the Dawn Service and the national ceremonies. After the ceremonies we'll spend a few additional hours in the area to learn more about the Gallipoli Campaign. In the afternoon we'll start our way back to Istanbul.


 

Day 5 : 26 April - End of programme (B)

Our journey will end after breakfast. (Additional nights in Istanbul can be included)
