Day 1 : 22 April - Arrival to Istanbul

Arrival to Istanbul and meet with shuttle transfer to hotel. In the afternoon our tour leader will brief us about the next days of our journey.



 

Day 2 : 23 April - Istanbul Sightseeing (B)

After breakfast we will start to discover the magnificent sights of Istanbul including the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace and the Hagia Sophia Museum



 

Day 3 : 24 April - Istanbul to Gallipoli (B)

Today we will depart Istanbul for Gallipoli to visit all the important memorial sites in the region including the Kabatepe War Museum, Anzac Cove, Chunuk Bair and Lone Pine. In the evening we'll depart for Anzac Cove and spend the night there to prepare ourselves for an unforgettable Dawn Service experience and commemorate the 90th anniversary of the legendary Gallipoli Campaign
 

Day 4 : 25 April - Dawn Service and Ceremonies (B)

Early in the morning we'll attend Dawn Service and the national ceremonies. After the ceremonies we'll spend a few more hours in the area to learn more about the Gallipoli Campaign before making our way to the oastal town of Ayvalik.


 

Day 5 : 26 April - Pergamum and Ayvalik (B)

After breakfast we will head our way to the ancient town of Pergamum to visit the remains of Temple Trajan, library and theatre cut into the hillside. After sightseeing we will return to our hotel in Ayvalik.


 

Day 6 : 27 April - Troy to Istanbul (B)

Depart Ayvalik for the legendary city of Troy, the setting of Homer's epic, Iliad, involving a giant wooden horse. Then we'll proceed back up to Istanbul.



 

Day 7 : 28 April - End of programme (B)

Breakfast at hotel and end of programme. (Extra nights can be added if required)
